We believe in ‘proper pubs’. You know when you’ve entered a proper pub. It’s a sense, not a blueprint and it differs from location to location because it reflects both the needs of its regulars and the personality of its owner. We’re always welcoming. Whether you’ve just popped in for a visit while passing through or you’re a regular each week, we’ll make you feel welcome and at home, always havin

g time for a friendly chat. Children and dogs are welcome, because they’re part of the family. We’re proud to serve real ale. That’s what we do. Real Ale has soul, character and personality and it’ll always be the headline of our range of drinks. We also offer real cider, wines and spirits. We stock lager, but not the mainstream brands. We’ll involve the local community at every step of the way. We’ll create local employment opportunities. We’ll offer events that reflect the local community, never imposing an idea but responding to what’s wanted or needed in the area. We’ll always listen and we’ll never be afraid to admit it if we get it wrong. If we get it wrong, we’ll put things right. About Lincoln Green. Lincoln Green Brewing Company began brewing in May 2012, introducing a new range of traditional ales brewed with pride in Hucknall, Nottingham. We take our name from the colour of the dyed woollen cloth associated with the Nottinghamshire legend of Robin Hood. We're passionate about real ale and produce four core beers -

Marion (Pale Ale 3.8%)
Hood (Best Bitter 4.2%)
Sherwood (Extra Pale Ale 4.4%)
Tuck (Porter 4.7%)

Seasonal ales and occasional specials compliment the core range. Lincoln Green Public House Company Limited has been established to support our plans to open up to five outlets over the next five years. The pubs will reflect our philosophy of 'proper pubs'.

Pub quiz tonight, Tuesday 8pm

Quizmaster Joe shall be in again tonight to entertain you, and to give all teams a chance to win the jackpot, which now stands at over £200!

Unfortunately I’ll be missing a 3rd quiz in a row! Don’t fear, I’ll be back next week. We’ve been in Pathos having a well deserved break. It’s been extremely relaxing, and as you can see here, nothing says more relaxing than running 10k one morning, then competing in an organised 10k run a few days later!

I guess what you really want to hear is this. Sparkle dog shall also be back this week. She’s also had a mini holiday staying with Tanya’s brother. Thank you Nickie.

As always, bookings recommended. Drop us a message to save your space.

Live Music Saturday 6th June
Kay Corominas

Joining us tomorrow night from 9pm is the wonderfully talented Kay Corominas.

Originally from Spain, Kay is a singer, guitarist, salsa dancer and dog lover, bringing plenty of warmth, personality and Latin flavour wherever she performs. As the lead vocalist of Midlands favourites The Sugar Tree, she has built a reputation for putting her own unique twist on a wide range of songs.

Expect an eclectic mix of Latin-inspired music, pop classics and well-known favourites, with influences ranging from Shakira, Santana and Celia Cruz through to Sting and Tina Turner. Whether you’re discovering something new or singing along to a familiar tune, Kay’s distinctive style makes every performance her own.

As always, entry is completely free.

Join us for a pint, a pizza and a great night of live music.

IMPORTANT WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS

It’s been a long hot weekend, and the heat persists. I want to start by thanking the entire team for their hard work during the high heat. Yes I’m naming them all! Darcey, Tony, Violet, Holly, Big Josh, Little Josh, Matt, Katie, Marshal and Zoe. Thank you. Also, a big thank you to Tanya for being so amazing and supportive to me, I know you always have my back, thank you too.

The fine weather continues this week so we have plenty of cold beer ready and waiting. I’ve put the furniture out early today to try and make life easier, although I am covered in sweat and ready for another shower. Today’s photo really shows how stunning the pub is. There are no filters on this picture today. It just looks gorgeous.

Tonight, Tuesday, we have our weekly quiz. £1 per person. Big cash jackpot that anyone could win. 8pm start. Arrive early, or better still book a table.

Wednesday 8pm. Morris dancing with Lady Bay Revellers. They shall put on a show and invite people to join in if they want. If you just want a giggle, I’ll also be joining in.

Friday night, we have nottsnoisecollective on the top deck. Live DJs playing some laid back summer tunes. It’s a great way to spend a Friday night.

Weekend is more about relaxing in the garden and enjoying the table service so you don’t have to leave your spot.

Sunday. A really good Sunday roast and a really fair price. Pork £9.95. Beef and veggie/vegan £11.95. Vegan and gluten free Yorkshire puddings available. We don’t hold back on quality, even at these prices.

Lastly, remember to stay hydrated and use sunscreen.

Come on you pies!

Good luck to nottscountyfc Notts County Football Club today at Wembley. Having just missed out on automatic promotion on the last day of the season, we are hoping that Martin Paterson and the team can win today and gain promotion.

Unfortunately we don’t have sky sports at the pub so we can’t show the game. But we are open until 10.30pm this evening, so fans can come and enjoy a beer in the garden before or after the match.

And talking football, we shall be showing the England group games and the second group game for Scotland. Limited space, bookings available.

Also, non football fans, you are also welcome. Bank holiday Mondays like today are made for the pub beer garden.
