🎶 MUSICIANS & LIVE SINGERS WANTED 🍺

Our 26th Annual Beer Festival is back at The Harrington Arms, Sawley from 28th–31st August 2026 — and we’re looking for talented soloists and duos to join the weekend line-up!

We still have a few performance slots available:

📍 Friday – 6:30pm
📍 Saturday – 2:30pm & 5:30pm
📍 Sunday – 2:30pm
📍 Monday – 1:30pm

Each slot includes:
🎤 2 x 45 minute sets
⏱️ 15–20 minute break between sets

If you’d like to perform at one of our biggest weekends of the year, get in touch with us via Facebook message or pop into the pub for more details.

Thought for the day…

People often see the finished event — the music, the atmosphere, the smiles, the packed venue and the good times. What they don’t always see is the effort behind it all.

In this heat, while most people are relaxing in the sun, our team have spent the weekend working tirelessly to deliver another successful Reggae Fest. Long hours, hard graft, and constant pressure — all handled with professionalism, pride, and smiles on their faces.

I may plan the events, but they are the people who truly bring them to life.

A good team doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built on trust, hard work, resilience, and people willing to go the extra mile for each other.

Today, I’m reminded that success is never about one person standing at the front — it’s about the people behind the scenes who quietly make it happen.

Very proud of this team today. Now for a well-earned cold drink in this heat ☀️🍻
