💜 VICKY’S FUNERAL & CELEBRATION OF LIFE 💜

Hi friends and family,

As you all know, our beautiful Vicky sadly gained her angel wings a couple of weeks ago. 💔

Her funeral will take place at Wilford Hill on Thursday 1st October at 4:00pm.

We ask that everyone dresses smartly and, where possible, pays tribute to Vicky by wearing a dash of purple — her favourite colour. 💜

Following the funeral, we will be heading to The Three Wheatsheaves for Vicky’s Celebration of Life, where we can come together, share memories, raise a glass, have a few laughs and give our beautiful girl the proper send-off she deserves. 💜👑

Vicky brought so much love, laughter and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. While this is an incredibly difficult time, we want her celebration to be exactly that — a celebration of the amazing person she was and the memories she has left with us.

Forever our Queen Vic. 👑💜

We hope to see all of Vicky’s friends, family and loved ones there to celebrate her life together.

💜 Rest peacefully, Vicky. You will never be forgotten. 💜

What a pleasure it has been . Thankyou for everything you have done for not only us as a team, but for our student cohorts and for Sheaves as a Brand 🥰.

Anni- We hope Germany is good to you as you head home after successfully completing your Masters Degree 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. We love you so much!

Marshall- Our team baby one! Came to sheaves with us from our last pub. Started as a 16 year old glass collector to becoming a bar powerhouse and now you are going to Uni yourself and are going to show Liverpool what you are made of 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi guys! Emotional Post Alert. 💔

I am not even sure how to do this properly or write exactly what we want to say.
But the family wanted us to let you know!

Most of you have had the pleasure of meeting our DJ Vicky over the last 5 years. Not only a DJ, but part of our team. Someone who would be in the pub on her days off, laughing with the team or having a cheeky chinwag with the locals.

Sadly, Vic was rushed to hospital on Thursday after a sudden medical emergency.

We have joined her family at her bedside. We have sang to her, we have laughed with her, we have cried with her, night and day. We have hoped, prayed and fought right alongside her.

Sadly, we are absolutely heartbroken and so sorry to tell you that Vic was too pure for this world at 3.26pm she left us to become the brightest star in the sky. 💔

Our hearts go out to her family and everyone who loved her. We cannot begin to imagine the pain they are going through, and we will be standing beside them every step of the way.

We invite anyone who knew Vic to join us at the pub tonight for a drink to celebrate her life.

Please share your pictures, your stories, your memories and all things Vic. We want to fill this place with her tonight and remember her exactly how she deserves to be remembered.

Here at The Three Wheatsheaves, Family means everything. When we lose someone, we all feel it. But when our staff smash it! We are celebrate together 🍺🍺.

This year we say goodbye to many graduates and staff who are flying the nest to start their next chapters and hone their skills in other cities and countries. ❤️❤️.

We are so very sad to see you guys go. Some of you i have personally had work with me for 3 years across other sites. ❤️.

So please. Friends and family of The Three Wheatsheaves please join me in congratulating my beautiful staff that are flying the nest. We wish you the best of luck! We will miss you so much but we know you are going to smash life!

🍻 August Opening Hours... & A Little Surprise! 👀

Well... it's happened. The annual student migration has begun. 🎓✈️

Our favourite students have packed up their fancy air fryers, emptied the cupboards of instant noodles and headed home for the summer. As a pub that's proudly built around Nottingham's student community, August is always a little quieter, so we're tweaking our opening hours to match.

Don't worry though... we're not hibernating! We'll still be pouring pints, showing live sport and keeping the good times going – just with slightly shorter opening hours while campus takes a well-earned break.

But here's the exciting bit... 👀

Rather than sitting around waiting for September, we're giving our bottom bar a much-needed facelift! 🔨✨

We've got a few improvements planned to freshen the place up so it's looking its absolute best when thousands of students return for another huge year at The Three Wheatsheaves. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on!

So enjoy the summer, keep an eye on our page for updates, and before you know it Freshers will be here, the pub will be full again, and we'll be back to our normal opening hours. 🍺🎉
