Our doors open at 8am for our comprehensive breakfast menu as well as teas, coffees and juices. Our entire breakfast menu is available to eat in or takeaway until noon. We then serve a wide variety of food and drink throughout the day and complement our menu with an extensive wine list as well as cocktails, imported beers and a traditional ale in conjunction with the LocAle scheme. ditional "afternoon tea” is served until 7pm and we also serve many speciality teas and coffees. To the front of our main doors is a heated and covered "pavement café” seating area where you can watch the world go by, the seating faces south so remember to prepare for the sun on nice days. Upstairs at Gilt
For those wishing to work or meet in a more grown up or professional atmosphere our Upstairs lounge is designed as a "child free” environment and is fitted with extra power sockets for laptop users. The Upstairs lounge is also available for private hire for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events or "just because". We can accommodate up to 50 people seated. By night Gilt becomes a comfortable bar serving a range of beers, wines and our own signature cocktail menu. For those feeling peckish nibbles and snacks are available and weekends see the Upstairs lounge move over to waitress service and specialise in cocktails, wines and champagne.
