We are recruiting for several long term barstaff positions to join our team at the Marquis, to cover weekday, evening shifts and various weekend shifts which include afternoons and evenings. The roles will be part-time and we expect to assign regular shifts to suit everyone. However we are happy to allow shifts to be swapped between staff and we would also expect you to help cover other colleagues when they have time off.
We expect you to have the maturity to be able to work solo, opening and closing the pub and changing beers in the cellar and to be happy, at busy times, to work with a colleague.
Most importantly we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys customer service in a pub environment and has the experience to involve themselves in the pub culture, the chat and to host the pub’s customers.
We will provide informal training on how we run the barside of the operation so previous pub experience would not be necessary for the right person.
