Well done to all Norfolk Juniors who competed in the Edgbaston priory this weekend. Fin Mutti, Alex Harrison, Alex Barnes and Henry Smith all competed well in their respective age groups in this silver event. Ada Brown stepped up to under 13s and powered through to the final without dropping a game. In the final she went two games up but her opponent fought back to take the third and then by the narrowest of margins she took the fourth game 16-14. In the final game Ada flew out of the blocks and never looked back winning 11-1 to take yet another title!

A massive congratulations to Ada, Lorelei and Maya. Their victory against Yorkshire this afternoon means that they are the first Norfolk junior team since 1978 (which featured Richard Millman) to win an inter county title! It wasn't smooth sailing but the girls showed great inner strength and spirit to come through!

What a great first day for our under 11s girls in the inter county finals. The girls didn't drop a game in their first match against Avon. The next match against Surrey went right to the wire. With the match tied it was up the Maya Johnson ,despite nursing an injury she was able to pull through 11-9 in the 5th. Next up was Lincolnshire. Ada and Lorelei won their matches 3-0 and Maya came through 3-1. One massive match left tomorrow against Yorkshire. Good luck girls!

A great day for Norfolks Corbin Bolt who competed at the Off The Wall Squash Bronze event in Essex this weekend. Corbin won all his matches without dropping a set in the boys under 15s. Norfolks Henry Smith and Fin Mutti also had great tournaments finishing 2nd and 3rd.
In the boys under 17s Alex Harrison had a great run to the final narrowly losing out to Connor Harmer.

Harleston Squash Club squash-a-thon could really do with your support. We're looking for some experienced juniors to take part in the event ideally on the Saturday morning when the new-to-squash junior coaching takes place. You'll be showing the beginners how much fun is squash is from a junior perspective and also helping to keep the squash club going. As well as making the event more varied.
