So here it is, the goodbye post. We all wanted to just say a few words...
I can't really put into words how I feel at the moment. We came in with the intention of making sure that every musician had a stage to play on whatever their age. I've seen so many come in from school with their parents bringing equipment in and have watched these youngsters grow in both their profession and in years. Now many of these young people have their own children, you all feel like my family. I feel privileged to have been part of your lives and have genuinely loved every minute of the last 20 years. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making my life richer. Love Pammie ###
I genuinely don't know how to write this, anyone that has met me and worked with me knows that this wasn't about a job for me but more about a passion and wanting to create a family. The Brickies has given me more than I ever knew was possible. I have been fragile at times and strong at others but throughout it all music is literally the thing that has made me feel alive. To everyone I've met, worked with, sung with and jumped up and down to, you need to know that you will forever have my heart. I will always be grateful for the last 20 years and hope to spend the next 20 watching, singing and dancing with you all... Shots at the bar!!!! Love Em ###
I have had the best time, seen some of the best bands, made some amazing friends and been privileged to be such a part of a thriving music scene. Thank you all for some awesome memories, and whilst it's goodbye from this side of the soundbooth, I shall see you all on the other side for some drinks, some laughs, some more great music and dancing!! Rock on you beautiful people!! Love Charley ###
If we can ask anything from all of you, just remember to always be fearless...
