Saturday 10 May saw us conclude (almost) another fantastic year of dancing with our ✨May Ball✨ held in Wymondham.

We all had a wonderful evening with dancers from near and far dancing to live music provided by the excellent Sandy Nixon and his Scottish Dance Band.

Thank you to all who joined us for what was a very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday evening
- we look forward to seeing you all again soon! 💃

As part of the Chinese New Year celebrations in the centre of Birmingham, members of RSCDS Birmingham branch joined forces with the Chinese dance group Wan Sheung to perform a fusion of Chinese and Scottish dances!

Slightly late, but just before the man with the presents came to visit (🎅🏻), the Norwich branch held our Christmas Dance and what a wonderful evening it was! We danced some fabulous dances with super dancers, and Trevor & Telse celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with us! 🥂🥰🎄

Ribble Valley Branch celebrated their 30th anniversary with a spectacular Halloween-themed Scottish country dance on 26th October 2024.

Just wanted to congratulate two of our dancers, Shelley for the sleep out for the Benjamin Foundation which helps homeless young people and Kirsty and her brother for swimming so many lengths for Cancer Research. Her mother’s cancer has returned.

Today’s Day School was excellent and we all enjoyed it. A super instructor Pat Houghton and great music from Barbara Manning. We learnt a lot!
There was a tasty lunch provided by members of the committee which always includes delicious homemade soups.
