A new season deserves a new menu.

From Friday 18th September, we’ll be introducing our new autumn menu. A collection of dishes built around the very best of the season, with quality produce, bold flavours and the attention to detail our kitchen is all about.

As the seasons change, so does our menu. Expect richer flavours, comforting dishes and plenty of new additions from the kitchen.

Turns out Tuesdays aren’t the only day getting better around here at The Saracens Head!

Introducing Steak Night Wednesday😍

Each week, our chefs will be serving a different cut of steak alongside fries and sauce to give you another very good reason to join us midweek.

We’re kicking things off with a 284g Bavette for £22 with plenty of sides to add alongside.

Available from 5pm this Wednesday, we do recommend to book.

TUESDAYS JUST GOT BETTER!

We’re kicking off our brand new Burger Club next week, with a different burger hitting the menu every Tuesday for £16 with fries included.

First up is our Double Cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup, onion and gherkins. Nothing fancy or overcomplicated, just a seriously good burger, cooked properly and packed with flavour.

The last Bank Holiday of the summer!

The weather might be miserable today, but thankfully it’s looking much better for the weekend.

Make the most of the extra day and spend it with us. Grab a table, enjoy some good food, have a few drinks and hopefully soak up a bit of sunshine while we still have it!

We will be serving food from 12–5pm on Bank Holiday Monday, or if it’s just a post-walk tipple you’re after, we’ll be here and ready to pour.

Walk-ins are always welcome, or book ahead if you’d like to guarantee your table.

Supporting local starts right here in our village❤️

Since early last year, we’ve been proud to stock Charlie’s Cheeky Treats, handmade by Harry who is just 14 and lives here in the village.

Harry has been building the business himself and has now taken the next step by setting up his own social media page. He’s even made this video to give you a little look behind the scenes, show how the treats are made and share more about the business he’s created.

Being a village pub is about much more than what we serve. It’s about supporting the people around us and giving local businesses a place within the pub, and we love being able to do exactly that with Harry.

So if you’ve picked up a bag from us before, or your dog is already a fan, head over and give a follow. We’re sure Harry would really appreciate the support as he gets his page up and running.

And of course, you’ll still find plenty of his homemade treats behind the bar for your four-legged friends!

There’s a real sense of pride behind every plate that leaves our kitchen here at The Saracens Head. We care about the whole dish, from the ingredients and preparation to those final touches at the pass before it reaches your table.

Here’s our Chicken Caesar salad in the final moments before service. Simple, fresh and finished with the same attention we give to every dish on our menu.

You may recognise Ruby from our front of house team, but when she’s not busy looking after you here at The Saracens Head, she’s been building her own handmade brand, SORELA.

Ruby creates beautiful crochet bags by hand, using recycled T-shirt yarn, with each piece made with so much care and attention.

We absolutely love seeing our team pursue their passions outside of the pub, so we would love for you to show Ruby and her new business some support. You're more than welcome to place an order and collect it from The Saracens Head!
