Hi guys.

Sorry to say we're closed again today. Our chiller issue is bigger than I thought so I need some whole new kit, which is on it's way.

We will 100% be open tomorrow!

We've got an engineer fixing some bits in the cellar so can't serve any beer in the meanwhile.

Hoping to be open for 5pm, but will update ASAP!

It's a beautiful day today, so it seems a shame to miss out on some perfect beer yarden weather!

We'll be opening at 2pm today (instead of 4pm) so call in sick, put in a half day, or set up whatever tool you use to keep you active on the work laptop for a few hours and get down for a few drinks and a bit of much anticipated vitamin D ☀️

We're increasing our alcohol free options!

Not drinking doesn't have to mean not having a good time. Aperture is first & foremost a social space for people to come & catch up with friends or to make new ones - alcohol doesn't necessarily have to be part of that experience.

Whether you're taking a break, T-total or spreading your drinking out over a long session, we've got you covered.

We already have a permanent alcohol free beer line (currently - Fresh), now introducing for all of your mocktail needs. We have Pink Grapefruit, Passion Fruit or Cool lime options, served over ice with a slice and soda for a fresh, Summery cocktail alternative.

We also have some alcohol free wine on the way, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

International Bee Day 🐝 🍯

Bees pollinate over 70 of the 100 crop species that provide 90% of the world's food. Without their vital work, global food systems would rapidly collapse, devastating biodiversity, plant reproduction, and our entire daily diets.

We work with for our mead, have a little read of what they're about and then celebrate with a glass (or bottle) of authentic honey mead here at Aperture:

"Our mead is a little different to the more mass-market offerings that are out there. We make ours from 100% British honey (including honey from our own bees), rather than using a base of white wine, and sweetening with sugar. This means our meads are the genuine article that support UK beekeepers, are minimally processed, and all natural (and delicious!).

Me, Laura and her sister Grace are running the Great North Run in memory of their dad, Paul.

Paul was a keen runner, so it felt fitting for Laura and Grace to take on this challenge, having never done it before.

Myself & Laura are fundraising together for The British Heart Foundation while Grace raises funds for Heart Research UK.
