Hello lovely people!

End of August update is here…
We’ve had a great summer and are so grateful for everyone who has visited us- thank you! 🙏🏼

After an incredibly busy time, I really need to take a bit of a break and have a reset for my health. I have been pretty non-stop since taking on the cafe almost two years ago, and have been juggling a multitude of things ever since, including a degree, and so a break feels very needed.

The cafe will be open today as usual, from 9-3 tomorrow (bank holiday Monday) and Sunday 6th for Proms in the Park hosted by Trenance Cottages (times to be confirmed shortly) but closed from the 1st-5th, and 7th-9th.
This also gives us a chance to get some ever exciting maintenance jobs done!

After this we will be open Wednesdays-Sundays, 10-4:30 until further notice. Fingers crossed for a good Autumn/Winter season 🤞😊

This has also been Ollie and Ethan’s last week at the cafe, as they have hung their aprons up to move onto new chapters. They have been with me since the beginning, and I am so grateful to have had them as part of the team, they will be very missed, and I will be wishing the best for them on their respective paths. Ollie will make a special appearance from time to time 🤍

I am short on staff this Sunday, so myself and some lovely volunteers will be opening from 9:00-13:00 instead of our usual hours.

We apologise for any inconvenience but can only manage so much, we hope you’re still able to visit for your coffee, cake or cream tea fix! Thank you for keeping us busy!

Hi all!

Firstly, a huge thank you for keeping us so busy this week. Your support truly means the world to us, and we're so grateful. 🤩

Just a little update for tomorrow, Friday 24th:

The kitchen will be closed tomorrow as I'm taking the day to travel, and welcome home my lovely partner who is coming back from deployment- something I’m very grateful to be able to do. 🥰

My lovely team will still be here with plenty of your favourites, including our delicious cream teas, bakes, freshly brewed coffees, and a selection of cold drinks, ice cream milkshakes, and smoothies. 😋
