There has been an inn on the site of The Aston since 1866, originally it was a one room bar for miners from the local limestone works. Today, The Aston has been transformed into a modern day country inn and restaurant where you can relax and enjoy locally sourced home cooked food and real ales. During the warmer months the garden, with its own bar, is open for eating and drinking. The Aston is a family run business where you can be assured a warm welcome awaits you from Adam, Ruth, Andy and their team.
