The Crown Inn at Newcastle

The Crown Inn at Newcastle With Government funding and community fundraising The Crown was renovated and re-opened in 2025. We are half way along the Offa's Dyke Path.

Now run by tenants John and Sue, the pub serves the local community and visitors, with a restaurant and B&B rooms.

Today I got the gardening stuff out to tidy up the side of the pub - and low and behold, a fabulous guardian angel turned up from nowhere and just started strimming it all 🤪

We have Rapsquillion coming to the pub this Saturday after the show!

Newcastle Show, Spanish paella night, and now the fabulous Rapsquillion ♥️

We will have a bar at the show - so the pub will not be open during the day this Saturday

Pub open from 4.30pm

Spanish menu starts from 5.30pm

Rapsquillion (games room if rainy, outside if sunny!) 7.45pm ish!

Some rare spaces left on Sunday if you'd like to book, but get in quick ;)

We thought long and hard about opening on bank holiday Monday but with lots of events on locally, including 2 beer festivals, we've decided to keep to Monday and Tuesday closed.

Don't forget the cauli cheese on Sunday - it's lush 😍
