👨‍🍳 THE COUNTDOWN IS ON… JUST 6 DAYS TO GO! 🔥 🍔

With The Denton reopening next Wednesday, our kitchen team have been back out on the road getting even more training under their belts! 🙌

This time they’ve been over at The Duke of Wellington in Durham, another Ember Inn getting stuck into the new menu and sharpening everything up ready for opening day.

And here are just a few little tasters of what they’ve been working on… 👀🤤

The new-look Denton is getting closer by the day, and we seriously can’t wait for you to see it — and taste it! 🔥

⚫️⚪️ TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY AT THE DENTON! ✍️🍴

We’ve made a signing ahead of our relaunch… and this one’s an internal transfer! 👀

We’re delighted to welcome Gemma, our new Kitchen Manager, who makes the move to The Denton from fellow Ember Inn, Turner’s Mill in Redcar.

Gemma brings a huge amount of experience with her, having spent an incredible 11 years with the company. She started her career as a meat carver at Toby Carvery, before working her way through the kitchen ranks to Kitchen Team Leader and then Kitchen Manager.

She’s since led kitchens at two Ember Inns — The White House in Hartlepool, followed by Turner’s Mill in Redcar — and now she’s signed on the dotted line for The Denton! 📝

And what a time to join us…

A TEAM ❤️🍻

What a shift — and what a team!

After a full day serving our guests, the team have stayed behind tonight to completely clear down and empty the bar, getting The Denton ready for our refurbishment to begin tomorrow! 🔨✨

It’s been a huge job, but everyone has absolutely smashed it. 💪

Now everything’s cleared, there’s only one thing left to do… sit down together, enjoy some well-earned food 🍔🍺

Couldn’t be prouder of this bunch. A massive thank you to every single member of the team for all the hard work today — and for everything you do for The Denton.

Great people. Great team. Exciting times ahead. ❤️
