We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new LGBT+ book club.

We will be reading and discussing q***r writers and books, but the club is OPEN TO ALL adults aged 18 and older.

Our first meeting will take place 19 October and then on the third Monday of every month, here in the bar, to help beat those Monday blues!

We are partnering with High Street Books & Records who will be happy to source all of our books in future, but why not head down there in the meantime to order a copy of our first book:

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.

Well.. after months of barely a drop of rain...we have it now!!! And looks like there'll be rain and more rain on the way..
But...before you think it's all bad...we're open at 4...with lots of lovely ales, wines etc...and that can help with the rainy day blues can't it???

And don't forget...its Bank Holiday weekend this weekend...and we're open on the Monday too..and from then..open 7 days a week!!

Our first 3 weeks have been so amazing. We have been so happy to see old and new customers.
We are so proud of the changes we've made so far... and the fact that you all seem to love it.

Next week is of course.... the last Bank Holiday of this glorious summer we've had. We are going to be making our most major change yet. As of next weekend and thereafter...we will be opening 7 days a week...and also changing the opening hours!

Monday to Thursday open from 4-10.30pm
Friday to Saturday open from 2-11pm
Sunday open from 2-10.30pm.

Come and join us for the BH weekend... and to celebrate with us the upcoming changes and the excitement of the things to come!

Well....Kerri and I have just finished 2 full weeks as the new Shed Caretakers...and what a 2 weeks it has been.
We've Cleaned...painted...rearranged...planted..ordered some lovely new beers...and added some ciders.
We've even had a surprise Environmental Health visit. Who checked the Shed over...and only went and awarded us a 5* rating!!!

To EVERYONE...old and new who've come to see us...we thank you
If you haven't yet....come in and say hi...have a beverage...we'd love to see you
