🚨 NEW MILLS TRAFFIC UPDATE: EXPECTED ROAD CLOSED AT CHURCH LANE 🚨

Motorists are advised of a planned closure tomorrow afternoon, with Maine Road expected to come to an abrupt end at Church Lane from around 3pm.

Visitors travelling from Manchester should expect heavy pressure, very little space and no obvious route into the next round.

Fortunately, Millers Bar opens at 12:30pm, so refreshments will be available while we wait for the disruption to begin. 🍺

☀️ And New Mills, we’re calling you out.
The forecast looks cracking, it’s Saturday afternoon and there’s cup football on your doorstep.

Never been down to Church Lane before? Tomorrow’s the day. Bring the kids, bring your mates, have a pint and come see what your local club is all about. 🟡⚫

It’s been a little while since our last one, but Foodie Friday returns to Millers Bar this week and we’ve got TinTin Foodie bringing some serious Hong Kong flavour to Church Lane. 🇭🇰🔥

And just LOOK at that Char Siu pork belly. 🤤

Choose from Hong Kong Char Siu BBQ Pork Belly, braised beef brisket, hand-shredded chicken, seafood or seasonal veg, then pick your homemade sauce.

Entry is just £1 per person, teams can be any size, and there’s a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.

Whether you’re a seasoned quizzer or just coming along for a pint and a laugh, everyone is welcome.
