The Boat inn is a beautiful pub set on the banks of the Wye. A beer garden with wonderful waterfalls, wild flowers set in stunning woodland.

Then from 8pm, a revolving lineup of some of our finest local musical talent will be bringing you an evening of specially selected spooky songs to keep you dancing until the witching hour*

Edit: we are open for drinks!

Unfortunately there's currently a major power cut affecting the whole area, at the moment we're waiting for a backup generator, and hoping to be up and running for drinks as soon as possible, but we won't be doing any food today unfortunately, so apologies if you were hoping for one of our Sunday roasts today!

This Thursday (29th), at the Boat, some of our finest local musicians will be getting together to bring you an extra special set of Halloween themed music for our Into The Valley Halloween Party!
There's a lot to fit in, so we'll be kicking it off a little earlier than usual, at 8pm.
Before that, on Wednesday the 28th, why not come and join us for our Halloween pub quiz? Starts 8pm, maximum 6 per team, it's £2 a head, winning team takes the pot. Please get in touch in advance if you plan to join in, let us know your team name and how many you've got.

Coming up at the Boat this Thursday (22nd), from 8pm, it's our monthly folk session!
Our sessions are as friendly and inclusive as they come, you don't need to be an amazing musician to join in, we love seeing new faces coming along, so please don't hesitate to come along and bring an instrument, bring your voice, or just enjoy the tunes!

Coming up this Thursday (15th), from 8:30pm we're very excited to be welcoming Wilma's Crac along for their first Thursday night at the Boat!
These guys have appeared at both of our outdoor Rock The Boat festivals, where they've kicked the day off with a joyful bang, we can't wait to see them bring that energy to the inside of the pub!

As the days get shorter and the autumn chill starts to creep in, there's nothing quite like a proper Sunday roast! 🍽️🍁

It's been a little too long since we've had the magnificent D.B. Smith Band at the Boat, so they're going to be with us this Thursday (8th), from 8:30pm!

Before all of that, this Tuesday (6th), we've got our beginner friendly slow folk session, which is perfect for anyone who's curious what these sessions are all about, but don't want to jump in at the deep end with our regular session, that'll be starting at 7pm.

🍺 WHAT A WEEKEND! 🇩🇪🥨

A massive thank you to everyone who came down and made our Oktoberfest weekend such a success!

Saturday was absolutely phenomenal — so phenomenal, in fact, that by the evening we were starting to run out of b**r! 🍻😂

It was brilliant to see the pub so busy, with great food, plenty of German b**r and such a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who came along, to our brilliant team who worked incredibly hard, and to everyone who helped make the weekend happen.

We had an absolute blast and we hope you did too!
