The Queens Head Inn

The Queens Head Inn 'A pub for all' - good ales, an ambient atmosphere, live music from local bands to international performers and refurbished rooms.

In May 2013 the 16th Century Queens Head Pub in St. James' Street was purchased from the Pubco owners by the existing landlord and a full renovation is now in progress. The ethos of the Pub remains the same 'making the Queens a welcoming pub for all', offering a relaxed ambience, and continuing to support live music. With a real log fire in winter, good ales and a warm welcome allied with beautifully re-furbished bedrooms, the Queens is definitely a pub for all.

Saturday 9 March 4.30pm Malvern Theatres

Filmed in Hereford and Monmouth.
A film made by and with the filmmakers’ family, reflecting the familial narrative of the film.
All things buried will resurface. A terminally ill archeologist’s world is thrown into turmoil when forced to exhibit the 2000-year-old
body he excavated with his former student lover. As he desperately connects with his son, his relationship with his daughter
deteriorates. He concocts an ‘archaeology of the living’ and enlists the help of a young guard at the university who has his own reasons for an intense devotion to the body. His final address at the opening of the exhibition becomes the haunting soundtrack to his final act of redemption.
Directors Lynda Myer-Bennett & Clive Myer will introduce the film with Q&As to follow
