September is our Nostalgic Month.
This Saturday we have singing as well as free slices of pizza made by us if you buy a drink.
On Friday 18th we have our 90s and 00s night. A 12 course meal made by to reminisce about the food from those great decades.
We then have another on 25th, this time being around the 70s and 80s.
The bar will be open as usual on both of those days to those who don’t want to have the meal.
We also have Georgie making a bunch of cocktails and drinks that take inspiration from those decades that you can only get on those individual nights.
Both meals are £35 per person.

We have lots of other things coming up too, including the return of the ghost walks, a Halloween 12 course meal, and we are also taking bookings for Christmas parties!

🌟Little Update 🌟

Over the last year, our cocktail menu has grown quite a bit. What started with a handful of cocktails has evolved into a menu full of creativity, experimentation and drinks that we’re genuinely proud of.

As our cocktails have developed, so have the ingredients, techniques and time that go into creating them. We’re using more house-made components, premium ingredients, fresh garnishes and a lot more of the little details that make a Shillings cocktail what it is today.

Because of this, we’ve made the decision to slightly increase our cocktail prices.

We want our pricing to properly reflect the quality, creativity and work that goes into every drink we serve, while allowing us to keep developing new cocktails and bringing you something a little different each time you visit.

Don’t panic! 😱 Beer and wine prices will remain the same!

We’re incredibly proud of how far our cocktail offering has come, and we hope you’ll agree that the drinks are worth it ❤️

September 12th - Live music, free pizza and competitions.

September 18th - 12 course 90s & 00s. £35pp. Open as usual, but you will need to book if you would like to enjoy the food. 7pm start

September 25th - 12 course 70s & 80s. £35pp. Open as usual, but you will need to book if you would like to enjoy the food. 7pm start.

Our Created By Georgie Range this month is Nostalgia to coincide with our 3 nostalgic nights coming up in the few weeks!
We have a rhubarb and custard cocktail, a Flying Saucer, a Jam Roly Poly and a Turkish Delight Cocktail.
We have a nostalgic night with live music and free pizza all night, as well as two 12 course nights. One based on the 70s and 80s and one of the 90s and 00s.
At both of those Georgie will be making 5 more cocktails for each night including an alcoholic capri sun, a boozy vimto and many more!

Starting from *September 13th we are doing our quiz every Sunday.
We used to do it once a month, and through popular demand we moved it to a Wednesday, but that didn’t work out for us. So we are going back to Sundays and we are doing them every week.

Calling all green-fingered locals! 🌿

We’re looking to source a small allotment or patch of land around Menai Bridge/Anglesey where we can grow our own fresh herbs and garnishes for the bar.

It doesn’t need to be anything huge — just somewhere we can grow a few things and have a little Shillings garden of our own! 🍸

If anyone knows of an allotment available, a spare bit of land, or someone we could speak to, we’d absolutely love to hear from you. Please drop us a message or tag someone who might be able to help! 💚
