Blue Sky is a beautiful café situated just off the bustling High Street of Bangor, North Wales. Stunning interior architecture and a colourful menu combine to create the ideal setting for socialising whilst enjoying food and drink. Inside you will find a cosy, amicable atmosphere whatever the weather, with a real woodburning stove and comfortable seating. We regularly host a selection of quality, intimate, original evening events, and are one of the busiest venues in Bangor. You can enjoy our full bar service, with a selection of local bottled ales and ciders and quality bar snacks. Four Good Comedians returns to Blue Sky Café & Taproom for another proper night of stand-up.

No gimmicks, no nonsense — just four genuinely funny comedians bringing their best material to the room. If you’ve been before, you know the crack. If you haven’t, this is the one to start with.

Expect a mix of sharp one-liners, stories that go off the rails, and the kind of laughs that carry on long after the night’s done.

Tickets are limited and these nights tend to fill up, so it’s worth getting in early.

Duos come and duos go, and some nurture and fine tune their art and watch it grow into something totally original and captivating. For three decades Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman’s partnership has proved personal, permanent and pivotal.

From their roots in 90’s folk supergroup ‘Equation‘ through to becoming a revered duo in the folk music scene this multi award-winning folk music couple continue to exude timeless class with their exquisite brand of traditional and contemporary acoustic music.

2025 sees them celebrate 30 years of their musical partnership with the release of their first live concert album. Titled ‘Another Day At The Circus’ it perfectly encapsulates the intimate poignancy of an evening with a couple at the top of their game.

Kathryn and Sean have twice been voted BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Best Duo as well as winning Best Duo honours from both Spiral Earth and Fatea Magazine.
