Bangor City 1876 FC is delighted to announce plans for a new ยฃ150,000 Community Hub at Bangor City Stadium.
The proposed development, located next to the Main Stand, is planned to become a central base for the newly launched Bangor City 1876 Foundation and a place where our club can create new community projects, initiatives and opportunities.
The Hub will provide a welcoming and accessible space for:
๐ Health & wellbeing
๐ Education & training
๐ค Community projects
๐ผ Employment & enterprise
๐ฃ๏ธ A safe place to come together, talk and connect
๐ค Events, conferences & hospitality
It will include a conference/events room, kitchen, toilets and disability access, while helping take pressure off our existing clubhouse.
The Hub will also work alongside our recently launched ยฃ550,000 4G facility, creating a stronger and more connected community environment at the stadium.
And, this is just the beginning...
The club board is also working behind the scenes to progress two new stands behind each goal, having prepared planning applications and is currently working with funding partners on the next stage of those plans. We will update the as and when further develops are made ๐
Our ambition is simple:
To make Bangor City Stadium the best it can be, for football and for our community.
We hope to have the Community Hub completed by February 2027, subject to the planning and funding process.
