Hi everyone
Just wanted to let you all know that Kerry and I will be having a few drinks on Sunday 17th of May at The Black Horse to say farewell and that there are going to be a few surprises behind the bar. 7pm onwards.
Our time running the pub has after fourteen fantastic years come to an end and we would love to see you and thank you for the fantastic support that you have given us during this time. It has honestly been an honour for us to have been caretakers of this wonderful pub for all these years and we are so thankful for the amazing friends that we have made during our time here. Melbourn has as many of you know now become our forever home and that is purely down to how we have been made to feel within the village.
If you can make it we would love to see you and if you can’t please read this message and accept it as our sincere thanks for making many happy memories for us both. We are handing the next chapter of the pub over to Sarah Pearson and hope that you can all afford her the same love and support that you have shown us. This is not good bye as we will now become patrons of the pub ourselves.
