🍸 EXPERIENCED BARTENDER / MIXOLOGIST WANTED

Taste Social is preparing to launch an exciting new Cocktail & Chinese Tapas Night, and we’re looking for an experienced, creative bartender/mixologist to help bring the concept to life.
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a brand-new drinks experience from the beginning. You’ll have the freedom to develop a distinctive cocktail and mocktail menu, create signature drinks for Taste Social and help us build an offering that customers will be excited to discover and return to.
The role will initially be a casual Thursday evening position, with the potential for ongoing work and additional Friday and Saturday evenings as the concept grows.
What we are looking for
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cocktails and can contribute creatively as well as confidently serve customers.
You should be able to:
• Create an appealing and commercially viable cocktail menu
• Develop a complementary mocktail menu
• Create 2–4 signature cocktails exclusively for Taste Social
• Design drinks that pair beautifully with our Chinese tapas and dining experience
• Provide clear recipes, preparation methods and presentation guidance
• Help calculate ingredient costs and recommend suitable selling prices
• Advise on the ingredients, equipment and glassware required
• Train our existing team to prepare and serve the drinks consistently
• Help us create visually appealing cocktails for our social-media content
• Bring energy, warmth and professionalism to the launch evenings
• Engage confidently with customers and help make the experience memorable
The role
Location: Taste Social, Market Harborough
Day: Thursday
Hours: Approximately 4–5 hours per week initially
Type: Casual / freelance
Start: To be agreed
You’ll be joining us at an exciting stage as we introduce this new concept, with the opportunity to make a real creative contribution and help shape the future of our drinks offering.
If the Thursday evenings are successful, there may be the opportunity to extend the role to include Friday and Saturday evenings, along with further involvement in menu development, events and promotions.
Experience
Previous professional bartending or mixology experience is essential.
Experience in creating cocktail menus, developing signature drinks, costing recipes and training staff would be highly desirable.
We’d love to hear from someone who is enthusiastic about creating something new and can bring fresh ideas, creativity and a strong understanding of what makes a cocktail menu both exciting and successful.
