COMING UP SOON - EVENT- Autumnal Paint & Sip with Maya:

We recently met the talented and enterprising Maya at one of her events at our friends Louisa's Place and again at Casa Nostra Restaurant. We were impressed with the passion and energy she puts into her Wild Marks Creative Club events "Where creativity is explored, encouraged and shared!"

So we invited her to design an event here at Taste 🔴 Social (as above) BOOK NOW

The Game of Fire and Ice !

It's Sunday and we're still open for a quick lunch right now if you're in 'Maha'.

Last night of the week before the business grind, so if you're out with friends or just want a cool place to chill this evening, we will be here from 17:30 - 22:00. The woks will be hot, the cocktails are iced and the atmosphere will be enhanced by our unique musical soundscape. Will you be joining us?

At busy times we can serve you the same Taste 🔴 Social menu upstairs if there is space available and of course our renowned daily Quick Lunch is served in the elegant surroundings of Han with an added starter. Always a good idea to book especially on Friday and Saturday evenings or for large groups.

We will soon be introducing a few new dishes on the Taste 🔴 Social menu influenced by Han.

All About Good Food (and Drink)... and Good Times...!

The weekend is here and yet again everyone says, “Where shall we go? What shall we eat? What do we drink?”

Here at Taste 🔴 Social we believe in collaboration, not competition. This town is definitely big enough for all of us.

Those who invest their time, money and effort in running hospitality businesses in our town share a common purpose: providing the very best in dining, drinking and social enjoyment in our area.

So, in that spirit, we say buy local, invest local and support local.

Anyone running a hospitality business knows just how much of what we generate goes straight back out again to landlords, councils, utilities, VAT, taxes and countless other costs. Jeremy Clarkson has made much the same observation about farming at Diddly Squat Farm Shop - we do the work, and an awful lot of other people get a share of the proceeds!

That is why we support our fellow local cafés, bars, diners, sandwich shops, eateries and fine dining venues. From time to time we'd also like to show you what our hospitality friends around the town and region are doing to make YOUR weekend a better one.



And we want to hear what you think too.

Last week, two of our Executive Team and our valued guest Rosemarie Jarvis paid a visit to Gurkha Dining Nepalese & Indian Cuisine. We have several Nepalese individuals in our own team, so we were particularly keen to support this new local venture.

Take a look at the food and judge for yourself.

We enjoyed it. We'll be going again.

Our highly popular Quick Lunch has become something of a local institution. Ten quick desirable dishes, one remarkable value price. Each a full plate, generously portioned, freshly cooked in our blazing woks.

Beef and chicken can be interchanged, or why not upgrade to king prawns for £4 extra (except Sweet & Sour Chicken and Singapore Vermicelli). Prices include VAT.

After busy weekends, Taste 🔴 Social is closed on Mondays. Our chefs and service teams have a welcome day off - but behind the scenes we are working to deliver continuous improvement for our people and our customers.
