We’re still getting over our fabulous Wednesday night! 🍻🏆

What an evening at the Joules 2026 Taphouse Awards, hosted right here at The Stag! 🎉

It was our chance to showcase the incredible potential of this venue, show our fellow Joules taphouses how we throw a proper party, and celebrate everything that makes our group of pubs so special.

From celebrating some truly fantastic individuals and teams to raising over £1,700 for charity, it was an evening to remember! ❤️

And, of course, we’re incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from here at the Red Lion! 🦁

🍷 Château Bessan Ambassador of the Year went to our very own Chris Turner, recognising all his hard work in introducing and championing our incredible new w**e range over the past year.

🏆 Top Tap of the Year was also awarded to the Red Lion! A true testament to our amazing team, their commitment to maintaining the highest standards, and their passion for creating a pub that feels warm, welcoming and everything a proper pub should be.

These awards are about so much more than a title. They celebrate the people, the passion and the hard work that go into making our pubs places people love to visit time and time again.

A huge well done to everyone who made Wednesday such a special evening, and a massive thank you to our incredible Red Lion team. We couldn’t be prouder! ❤️🍻
