James and Woody headed over to the Duke of York in Lichfield last night for a brilliant Meet the Brewer evening!

A chance to talk all things b**r, hear a few stories from the brewery and get your questions answered first-hand by the people who brew it. And of course, plenty of sampling along the way!

There's a little Moon Madness brewing this Halloween.

A mysterious, luxurious dark mild, brewed by our night brewer for the haunting season.

Made with English-grown roasted malts, bringing rich notes of dark fruit, treacle and liquorice, balanced with a gentle bitterness from traditional English hops.

Twisted, yet wonderfully smooth. Rich, rounded and just a little mysterious.

Look out for Moon Madness on the bar at your local Joule's this Halloween.

Opening night at certainly went down well! 🍻

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to raise a glass and welcome Kirstie and Mike to their new chapter in Bridgnorth.

It's also lovely to see another Joule's Tap House proudly pouring wines! 🍷

And there's even more reason to pop in! Over the next couple of weeks, The Shakespeare is offering a free pint for every six pints of Joule's enjoyed!

🏆 Joule’s Taphouse Awards 2026 - What a night!

On Wednesday evening, we welcomed our tenants, managers and teams to The Stag in Market Drayton for our annual Taphouse Awards.

It was a brilliant night and a chance to get everyone together, catch up and recognise some of the fantastic work happening across our pubs.

A huge congratulations to The Duke of York, Lichfield, who took home Taphouse of the Year, and to all of our award winners. It was lovely to see so many teams up on stage receiving some well-deserved recognition.

We also raised an incredible £1,780 for Severn Hospice through our charity raffle. A massive thank you to everyone who bought tickets, donated prizes and helped us raise such a fantastic amount.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success, and to Sandbrook Vaults for keeping the celebrations going afterwards!

Most importantly, thank you to all our tenants and their teams for everything they do throughout the year. There's a huge amount of hard work that goes into running a great pub, and we're very lucky to have such a brilliant group of people representing Joule's.
