The Queens Head reopened in September 2015 and has been completely revamped and restyled into a charming, modern, cosy countryside pub and restaurant. There is a welcoming bar and a snug with sofas and a fire in winter; seating in the dining area for thirty+ people, a well-maintained beer garden and grassed area for the kids, and ample parking. There is also a Glamping site with belle tents, barbecue area and separate facilities on the field behind the pub. The pub is open Friday to Sunday, and serves an afternoon menu from mid-day to 4pm and there is a full pub-restaurant menu in the evening from 4:30 to 8pm. Every Sunday there is Sunday roast dinner served from mid-day to 2:30pm. Children's meal portions and drinks are available and all are welcome. (Sorry no dogs inside)
The bar has a variety of draught beers, including guest ales, a good range of quality wines and gins and plenty of soft drink options too. The Queens Head also holds a popular fun Bingo Night! Drop in for a drink or a meal, or just to pick up a copy of the menu to take home.. Booking recommended for Friday/Saturday night and Sunday lunch.
