We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be a fantastic Bonfire Night! 🎇✨

🎟️ PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR TICKETS!

When you arrive, Alfie will be collecting tickets in the car park, so please have them ready.

🚶 ENTRY & ACCESS

Entry will be through the two doors leading into the bar. From there, please make your way through the restaurant and into our Food Hall (Conservatory), where you can enjoy the evening’s food and festivities! 🍔🌭🍻

🎇 IMPORTANT – NO SPARKLERS PLEASE! 🎇

For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that nobody brings sparklers to the event. Unfortunately, due to the space available and safety requirements, sparklers are not permitted.

We really appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep everyone safe. ❤️

🎆 FIREWORK DISPLAY – 7:00 PM 🎆

We’re aiming to start our firework display around 7:00 - 7.15PM, so please arrive in plenty of time to get settled and enjoy the atmosphere!

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and experienced cleaner to work in a private household near Louth.

📅 2 days per week

🕘 9am – 2pm (5 hours per day)

🏡 Private household

✅ Previous cleaning experience is essential.

✅ High standards and attention to detail required.

No cleaning companies or agencies please – individuals only.

⚡️ WE’RE BACK ON! ⚡️🥳

We’re delighted to let you all know that our electricity has been restored! 🙌❤️

Our chef is back in the kitchen, getting the roasts into the combi ovens and everything prepared for a delicious Sunday lunch! 🍖🥔🍽️

We will be BACK OPEN AS NORMAL tomorrow! 🥳

Once again, we cannot apologise enough for the disruption and inconvenience caused today. Thank you so much to all our lovely customers for your patience, understanding and kind words. It really does mean the world to us and our team. ❤️

😩 It’s really not our week this week! 💦⚡

No water on Sunday… and now NO ELECTRICITY! 😭

Unfortunately, we’ve been hit with an unexpected power cut. The National Grid team are on site, but at the moment we have no estimated time for when the power will be restored.

We’re so sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. ❤️

📞 Laura is currently working her way through ringing all customers with reservations, but if you see this post, please share it, comment and help us spread the word!

⚠️ We also have no working phones at the pub, so unfortunately we can’t take any calls at the moment.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. We’ll update you as soon as we know more!

🍽️✨ SO MUCH MORE GOES INTO A MENU THAN YOU MIGHT THINK! ✨🍽️

People probably don’t realise just how much work goes on behind the scenes when it comes to creating our menus!

We’re talking months and months of planning, discussions, ideas, tastings, tweaks and changes! We really do put so much into getting it right.

Of course, there are the classics that we know you all love and that simply have to stay! ❤️ But we also love to step things up, introduce something new and, most importantly, give our talented chefs the chance to show off what they can really do! 👨‍🍳🔥

I think it’s safe to say there must be well over 1,000 emails flying backwards and forwards between us! 😂 Discussing everything from new concepts and flavours to how dishes are executed, presented, priced and everything in between. Nothing is just thrown onto a menu without a lot of thought!

And that’s why NEW MENU DAY is always such a lovely feeling. Seeing all those months of hard work finally come together and make their way out into the restaurant for our customers to enjoy is something we never get tired of. 🥰

A big thank you to Ron and Karl for all the hard work, ideas, patience and probably the hundreds of emails we’ve driven each other mad with! 😂

We make a great team, and I think that really shows in what we produce. ❤️

Join us on Tuesday 3rd November for a fantastic evening of food, fire and fireworks! ✨

🍔 Food available from 6pm in the Conservatory
