What a day at The Plough! 😊
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Great British Summer BBQ today. More than 200 of you came through our doors and into the garden, and it was wonderful to see The Plough so full of people enjoying themselves.
The weather was very kind to us too – apart from two little showers! ☀️😊
Six huge venison haunches went over the fire, along with plenty of burgers, sausages and halloumi, and somehow we managed to sell out just as the BBQ was coming to an end. We couldn’t have timed it better! 🍖👏
A very special thank you to our guest chef Joe. It was an absolute pleasure having you cooking with us. I loved being able to watch you at work, learn from you and follow your lead around the fire. Thank you for bringing something really special to The Plough for the day.
And a massive thank you to our Head Chef Billy, who kept the kitchen and the whole team running like clockwork throughout an incredibly busy service. 👏
🎶 A big thank you to Zaylee too for another fantastic live performance and for creating such a brilliant atmosphere in the garden. The music really helped make the afternoon feel special.
To our kitchen and FOH teams – thank you. You all worked incredibly hard, kept smiling, most importantly, made everyone who joined us feel welcome and at home.
And finally, thank you to all of YOU who came along, supported us, ate, drank, listened to the music and enjoyed the afternoon with us. Days like this are exactly what a community pub should be about ❤️
