A call to increase the pension credit eligibility limit.

The abolition of the Winter Fuel Allowance (WFA) has brought pensioner poverty into sharp focus. While some WFA payments reached wealthier individuals, millions of pensioners relied on it—especially in light of recent fuel price hikes.

With the Government intent on abolishing the WFA, it’s crucial to establish better safeguards for our poorer elderly citizens. That’s why I am advocating for an increase in the Pension Credit limit to ensure pensioners can achieve a "modest" standard of living.
