In 1954, Michael and Sheila van Bloemen opened the doors of the Troubadour and made history.

Since then, many stories began with that very same door. Some of the biggest musicians, actors and artists of a generation met at various stages of their careers to share ideas and grow together.

Many met their significant others, and today they tell stories of days spent by the dimly lit tables or listening to the musicians visiting the club and how that changed their lives forever.
