Nestled neatly between Snaresbrook and Wanstead tube stations, it’s never been easier to decide which dog-friendly pub you’d like to visit. In fact, some might say you could stay at The Cuckfield in Wanstead even longer…

No, your eyes don’t deceive you – if you’re wandering down both High Street and Wellington Road, you’ll see our traditional pub curving around the corner. How else would we fit the characterful beer garden and generous seating, waiting patiently for celebrations, events and any other occasion needing a large group booking or private venue hire? Of course, if British weather has a few words to say about your after-work drinks, we even have outdoor heating to create the illusion of sun-soaked holidays. Just make sure you finish the work meeting first – the boss might have something to say if you’re in our quiet area, complete with plug sockets, daydreaming about our seasonal dishes and tipples. But if you’d like to save the best for last, there’s plenty to do before you get here, including Wanstead Park, The Birch Well, Eagle Pond and Epping Forest. Just make sure to bring a map for that last one – at 2,400 hectares, you may need help finding your way back to our delicious pub menus?
