After almost 8 wonderful years, it’s time for us to say goodbye to the Chef’s Menu at Levan.

Over the past few years, we’ve worked hard to evolve with the changing economic landscape, focusing on what we love most: being a neighbourhood restaurant that offers great food, great value, and a little bit of magic. Alongside our affordable weekday set lunch and the ever-popular £22 Steak & Moules Frites Sundays, our à la carte menu has gradually become the heart of what we do, as we’ve slowly stepped away from the more formal fine dining style of our Chef’s Menu.

But before we bid it farewell, we thought it deserved one last celebration. So we are offering the final Chef’s Menu, available at its original “pre-cost of living crisis” price of £59 pp, from 3rd–13th June.

Whether you’ve enjoyed it countless times or never quite got around to trying it, this is your chance to experience the menu that has been such a special part of Levan’s story.

Simply book as normal and add “Chef’s Menu” to your booking notes.

Come raise a glass with us, relive an old favourite, and help us give the Chef’s Menu the send-off it deserves.

LEVAN X LES ENFANTS DU MARCHÉ - 14TH JUNE

In partnership with we welcome our fourth guest in the series, our second from Paris, the inimitable

Les Enfants du Marché requires very little introduction, a beacon of gastronomy in the bustling heart of Paris’s 3rd arrondissement, owner Michael Grosman is the master of hospitality, slinging delicious natural wines whilst his head chef Kenta Tomoda plates amazing dishes to a regular band of locals, industry folk and food tourists in the know.

This no reservations restaurant, located in the famous Enfants-Rouge covered market is featured in a million influencer reels and co-signed by rapper and “F**k That’s Delicious” star Action Bronson Les Enfants is a must for anyone who is serious about food and wine. We are very excited to have them join us in London. 

Expect dishes like smoked langoustine with hay, sweet onions, trout roe and truffle vinaigrette or scallops, Hokkaido squash, Buddha’s hand, foie gras emulsion.
 
Join us for lunch on Sunday 14th June, from 12-4pm, where we’ll be serving a £59 per person menu which includes a free Lillet rosé spritz aperitif, followed by a delicious selection of sharing starters, a main course and dessert. 
 
Owing to the nature of this event, the menu will unfortunately not be able to cater to any dietary requirements.

We went to see our friends in Paris to talk to Head Chef about his background and the food he loves to cook.

He’ll be with us on Sunday 17th May, cooking a wonderful menu of delicious and interesting dishes with the Levan team, from 12-4pm.

We only have a few tables left, so get your bookings in asap or miss out!

For our next “The French Connection” event we welcome our third guest, our first from Paris this year, the formidable on Sunday 17th May.

Often described as a luxurious wine bar, Déviant is much more than that. The food is superb and a big part of what makes it so special, the atmosphere is never not absolutely buzzin’ with a very clued up, fashion-centric crowd.

Owned by Arnaud Lacombe and originally developed in partnership with Pierre Touitou (who now owns the acclaimed 19 Saint Roch and is the son of APC owner Jean Touitou), Déviant is the naughty sibling of much respected which is a few doors down the street. Arnaud is quite the restauranteur, also owning Le Collier de la Reine, Il Camino and Silenco Club in Paris, as well as Il Capri Hotel on the stunning island of Capri, Italy.

is their new brilliant head chef. Having worked in some of Paris’s best restaurants including Jones, Dame Jane, and Le Petit Panisse, Jeff has a serious reputation of a chef who knows flavour. We cant wait for you to taste his food!

Some of his past dishes all sound delicious - fried mackerel with date relish, black garlic, cecina mayonnaise, and lime or cod confit with paprika, monkfish liver cream, and cockles. When Matt and Mark went in November, they had an amazing chocolate ganache with Kalamata olives which was just superb!

STRICTLY BANGERS WINE TASTING - WESTWELL WINES - 14TH APRIL

We’re very excited to welcome back Adrian Pike from in Kent. One of the UK’s best producers (in our humble opinion) who makes a superb range of wines from their flagship Pelegrim traditional method sparkling, to zesty whites, smashable rosé, amphora oranges and silky reds. We always have his wines on our list at both & Bar Levan. Adrian will be pouring and talking us through 4 of his wines on the night. And we’ll hopefully get a sneak peak at his brand new pet nat.

The pre-paid tickets are £40 per person and you get to explore 4 x wines based around the themes above, you also get snacks on arrival and a Croque Monsieur to share with your table.

For the 2nd guest in our Auberge section, we welcome to London on Sunday 12th April.

A bit more background on how this all started...

Levan co-owner first met the owner of Bellevie, when she was the GM at Auberge de Chassignolles in 2022. Her passion for food and wine was infectious as was her penchant for blasting techno at midnight, much to the sleepy village of Chassignolles’ delight. After a long hunt for the right spot, she settled in the Jura, a beautiful region in eastern France, a four hour drive south east from Paris and nestled in one of France’s most respected wine regions.

In the kitchen at Bellevie is the inimitable Hailing from Perth, Western Australian, Byron moved to London in 2016 to work at east London stalwarts Brawn, Bright and Peg, before moving with his wife F***y and baby son Marcel to cook at the amazing Le Doyenné just outside of Paris. It was here that a mutual friend introduced him to Zoe at Bellevie. Et viola!

The auberge is charming, cosy and dangerously comfortable. They have beautiful rooms, Byron’s cooks a superb lunch and dinner nearly every day. Zoe’s amazing wine list is full of our favourite winemakers, some of who you often rub shoulders with over dinner (when Mark was there in November he was drinking with Emmanuel Houillon and Philippe Bornard!) They even have a cute little swimming pool for the hot summer months. We recommend a visit any time of the year!

Join us for lunch for a taste of regional France on Sunday 12th April, from 12-4pm, where we’ll be serving a £59 per person menu which includes a selection of sharing starters, a main course and dessert. Every guests get a free rosé aperitif.

And then taking the party next door to afterwards for more wine, mezcal and music! Bar Levan will be open from 4pm til late.

This Sunday, 8th March, we welcome Poppy & Harry from Auberge de Chassignolles to cook lunch with us at Levan. 12pm - 4pm. We can’t wait!!

Every guest with get a bangin rosé aperitif on the house.

We only have a few tables left, so be quick to snap up the last few spots.

Afterwards we head to for more wine, music and probably a lot of mezcal. No booking required for Bar Levan. See you there!
