An evening of cutting-edge electronic rhythms and lush ambient textures, blending IDM-inspired explorations with immersive soundscapes.

MARÇAL XIRAU

Marçal Xirau is a Catalan experimental electronic musician based in London. He has released four EP’s and one LP since 2017. He is currently presenting his next upcoming album “Unveiled”. The first single titled “Hidden”, released on October 25, 2024, is a dreamy lullaby that offers an introduction to the sonic and emotional depth of the album. With its slow, deliberate build, “Hidden” intertwines moments of introspection with bursts of aggression. The single’s delicate yet powerful sound blends ethereal melodies with raw emotional energy.

The producer has presented his work in several European festivals, such as Sónar. Having an electric guitar background, the musician seeks for expression and depth through his unique use of digital production tools. The musician creates immersive sets of original music, bending the barrier between ambient music, pop, experimental electronica and abstract high pitch melodic synth music.

SARA RAHMAN

Composer, musician and interdisciplinary researcher, Sara Rahman uses voice, cello and an array of pedals to create ambient and electronic songs that are as intimate and atmospheric as inspired by experimental pop.

“Soborgnost is sci-fi dance punk at the intersection of vaporwave, minimal wave, disco dub, industrial, EBM, proto-house, drone and noise. Using a hardware sampler to emulate dub mixing, looping post-punk style basslines with chuggy, lo-fi beats. Warped analogue textures are added with cassette tape manipulation, electro magnetic frequency transmitters, shortwave radio, harsh noise generator and dub sirens. For fans of Hype Williams, ESG, Delroy Edwards, Mark Stewart & The Maffia, Adrian Sherwood, Sneaks and Lord Tusk”

They’ve worked hard to build a life here that they’re incredibly proud of. Unfortunately, their visa is about to expire, and the cost of renewing it is more than they can manage on my own. They’re doing everything they can to stay in this city they love, but they need your support.
