What is orange wine? 🍊🍷

Despite the name, orange wine doesn’t contain any oranges!
It’s actually a skin-contact white wine, made by fermenting white grapes with their skins, giving it its beautiful amber-orange colour.
Think of it like rosé, but in reverse: while rosé gets its colour from red grape skins, orange wine gets its colour from extended contact with the skins of white grapes.
