Drappier at Bedford Street Wines. 🍾

We’re very excited to welcome Champagne Drappier as our new House Champagne.

A family-owned Champagne house since 1808, Drappier is based in Urville in the Côte des Bar and is particularly celebrated for its love of Pinot Noir and its distinctive, characterful Champagnes.

To kick things off, we’ll be pouring Drappier Carte d’Or by the glass throughout September & October, even better, it’s joining our Happy Hour every day from 3–5pm. 🥂

You’ll also find a selection of Drappier bottles on our shelves, including a few rather special cuvées to explore.

The window is dressed, the bottles are chilled and the glasses are ready.

When our old friend Gareth popped into the shop with a pair of beautifully striking unlabelled black bottles of rather delicious English rosé and told us about his plans for the heretics we knew we wanted to be part of the journey. The ‘Blowhorn’ Rosé we tried that day really did change how we thought about still rosé from these fair islands and their approach to wine making and their ‘brand’ is as unique as we had come to expect of both Gareth and his partner Jimmy.

A couple of years since we became the first retail store and restaurant () to stock the wine in London we thought it was time to celebrate the partnership a little more with dinner and a party and we want you to join us!

The date is May 7th, there will be three courses with paired wine, Gareth and Jimmy’s company… DJ Dave Holloway… Matt & Rob will be on hand... what more could you want?
