After a gorgeous day with Women in Jazz on Sunday, we're super excited to announce the next show in the series, with none other than 18-piece Afro-Cuban big band .regency.orchestra 🎷 They're joined on the day by Mansilla, trombonist and composer Joe Bristow and Son Solero...

👉 Mansilla, blends elements of jazz, funk, soul and latin. His compositions pay homage to the rich heritage of Latin music, growing up on huayno and salsa amongst others.

👉 Joe Bristow, is a trombonist and composer based in South East London, known for his versatile sound spanning jazz, contemporary classical music, and many other genres. He is a member of the Mercury Prize–nominated SEED Ensemble and leader of a chordless double-drums project.

👉 Son Solero brings together musicians from around the world through their shared love of Cuban music. Groovy rumbas, fiery salsa, boleros that make you swing, and rnb classics with sabor!

BIM pays tribute to the music of the forebears of Dahomey. It reflects as much the traditional ceremonies as the trendy clubs of Cotonou, through to the Evangelical churches and the convents where voodoo deities are invoked.

Associating voodoo rhythms and traditional songs, electronic melodies in the very spicy Beninese style with trip pop grooves, hip hop and rock, this collective of Beninese artists have all it takes to make us travel 👀

On sale now! After a hiatus of over a decade, Abakush is back 📣 Expect a new look, new tunes, renewed energy, all carrying the same powerful message 🤝

This predominantly female 9-piece group from Brixton was formed in 1981 by a group of like- minded individuals. They originally performed as Abacus, which evolved into Abakush and now Kush Abakush – ‘Abba’ of Aramaic origin – the common word for father in modern Hebrew and ‘Kush’ representing the Motherland.

Whilst Abakush is widely considered a reggae group, they incorporate elements of Jazz, Soca and Gospel into their sound.
