So excited to be hosting PINTS AND PONYTAILS with 🇬🇧 BOX-BRAIDS 🇬🇧 - A social workshop for you to learn how to do your child’s hair with confidence!

Kids are firmly back to school so there is no better time to learn how to do some simple but lovely hairstyles in a fun, supportive and hands on workshop at The Ladywell Tavern.

The workshop will be very practical and hands-on, with parents having the opportunity to learn how to properly prepare, part and braid their child’s hair.

Christina will be there to guide everyone step-by-step and provide individual support where possible. Different hair textures catered for!

This workshop is made with dads in mind but all parents are welcome!

Tickets are £25 for a three hour workshop- spaces are limited and we are expecting it to be popular so get booked now to avoid disappointment.

The price is for the workshop only- food and drinks will be available as usual. As it’s a Tuesday our usual drinks deals will be on too!

ROASTS ARE BACK ON SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST! So many of you have been asking for roast to be back, so we thought we would treat ya! We know it’s a heatwave right now but book an inside table with aircon but by the 23rd it’ll probably be cold right?! Our burger menu is also available if roasts aren’t ur thing. ✨ 1st January 2025 - OPEN MIC NIGHT ✨

Since kicking off our open mic night on May 1st, it has blossomed into a spectacular evening filled with incredible music over the past seven months!

We’ve been fortunate to witness outstanding performances spanning various genres—from folk to hip hop, classical to jazz, beatboxing to opera.

What started as a humble idea has grown into a beacon of creativity and one of our most beloved nights every week. Watching friendships form and seeing our community unite in such a supportive environment fills me with immense pride.

A special shoutout to the incredibly talented high priestess of folk, Morgan, whose dedication every Wednesday since May has been the backbone of this success. Thank you, Morgan!

We also owe a big thank you to our sponsors. have kept us refreshed with free b**rs for all performers, and have generously provided a house guitar for all to enjoy.
