We went on a managements strategy seminar/brewery tour to Ghent 🇧🇪 this week

Had a great time in this incredible city. Drank loads of good beers, visited a lot of amazing bars, and came home with a pocket full of good inspiration for our pub.

Travelling with Eurostar also allowed us to have a couple of hours in Brussels

Massive thanks to Head Brewmaster Joris at Huyghe Brewery in Melle for showing us around this magnificent brewery famous for its pink elephants

And a special thanks to Jason, Welsh expat in Merelbeke, who bought us around of beer when we first arrived. We decided to get off at this small village in the outskirts of Ghent to make the cab journey to our hotel faster, and we found Cafe Flandria which was the only bar in Merlebeke that was open. After ordering beers we discovered it was cash only which we did not have, and no cash machines in sight. So Jason kindly bought us a round of Jupiler 🙌

Summer staff party 🎉

We had a well deserved gathering for our hard working staff on Monday, which was also a celebration of a well executed World Cup.

Tins and rounders in Vicky Park, pints at the People’s Park Tavern, and take-away burgers, heaps of drinks, shots and karaoke room back at the head quarters

It’s coming to the bitter end now for our beloved Big Wave. On the very last keg now and when it’s gone it’s gone forever on draught in the UK
