You can enjoy a great choice of mouth-watering homemade meals throughout the week and on Sunday we offer an all day carvery. We love cask ale at The Star and we offer 2 traditional hand pulled cask ales for you to enjoy. Fresh Nespresso coffee is available throughout the day and you can also make use of our free WiFi during your visit. To the rear of the pub is a large beer garden with a bouncy castle for the kids (weather permitting)

We can cater for all occasions in our function/conference room, so if you have a Birthday, Christening, funeral or business meeting coming up please call us or pop in for details of what we can offer. For details on our wedding service please call the pub and speak with Ian for further information!

Unfortunately due to virgin media, we currently have no wifi or phone for the pub. This is due to them cutting our line without us knowing in advice. We are currently trying to resolve this, however they say it “ isn’t critical “ so who knows how long it may take.

In the meantime you can still contact us by Facebook or email. Alternatively you can book a table through our website.

We will update once back up and running, thank you for your patience.
