It is with great sadness that we have made the difficult decision that our time at The White Hart has come to an end.
Our final week of trading will be this week, and we will be closing the doors at the end of the night next Saturday.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us over the last year. Whether you've joined us for a drink, a meal, a Sunday roast, live music, a family celebration, or simply stopped by for a chat, you have helped make The White Hart a special place.
We know this news will come as a disappointment to many people in the village, and it is certainly not a decision we have taken lightly.
Weโll be holding a closing party on Friday evening, and everyone is welcome to join us for one last celebration together.
The good news is that Batemans are actively seeking a new tenant to take over the pub, and we understand they hope to have it operating again as soon as possible. While we cannot make any guarantees about future arrangements, we sincerely hope that The White Hart will continue to serve the village under new management for many years to come.
In the meantime, the sun is shining, the barbecue is lit, and we've got Vinyl DJ Jonny D with us this afternoon. We'd love to see you down by the beck for a drink, some food, and a chance to make a few more memories with us before we say goodbye.
