Checking out the pubs around the UK, to explore the history of the pubs and surrounding areas, to sample new beers on the way and to show my followers there are fantastic boozers out there which need to be checked out. Here is the next pub in my travels around this island:
📍The Lincoln Imp - Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Drink: Black Heart stout by Brewdog.
Pub number 1227 visited since 16th August 2021.
A large community pub serving the local housing estates in the north of the city. The bar features games and sports TV. There is a comfortable lounge plus a large function room.
Lincoln Imp pub sign is an iconic sight for anyone travelling along Riseholme Road into or out of Lincoln. Taken to London for the Lincoln City FA Cup quarter-final against Arsenal in 2017 when the Lincoln Imp pub was recreated in London. Recently painted red to celebrate Lincoln City's promotion to the Championship.
Nice bar, barman was lovely to chat to, and loving the feel to the place. Defo has one of the best pub signs in the county.
