We’re off attending the last wedding of our very wedding-filled year 🥂🤣 and taking a much-needed little breather before we come back and dive head first into the -ber months… because somehow they’re already here. 😭

And that’s Kitchen Ben officially clocked out for the last time before heading off to uni 🥹🍻

Ben’s been with us since the very beginning — back when we were still figuring out what the hell we were doing 🤣 and has survived every mad shift, record breaker, World Cup game, Christmas and of course… Carps Goes Country 🤠😂

He’s worked his arse off, put up with Conor in the kitchen and me constantly announcing another “great idea” 🤣 and has become a proper part of the Carps family. ❤️

We’ll even forgive the time you phoned in last minute because you wanted to go to a party… eventually. 😂

Thank you for everything Ben 🫶 Go absolutely smash uni, have the BEST time and make plenty of questionable decisions.

Every Thursday throughout September, we’re bringing you our brand new Steak Night, featuring a choice of cuts, all supplied by the brilliant Parrott Bros, with proper chunky chips and all the classic trimmings.

Fancy making it a bit more special? 👀
Upgrade your potatoes, add a side (hello, Landlord-battered onion rings 🤤) and finish it off with your favourite sauce.

Honestly… where do we even start?

To every single person who came through our doors for Country Night — 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨. ❤️

You showed up. You got involved. You dressed up. You danced, drank, laughed and somehow turned all the planning, decorating, stress and absolute chaos behind the scenes into a night we’ll never forget.

To our incredible staff — 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨. ❤️

You worked your absolute socks off. You kept the drinks flowing, the smiles going and somehow survived the madness 😂 We genuinely couldn’t do any of this without you.

To everyone who helped us set up, decorate, move things, organise things, entertain, clean up and generally bring the whole mad idea to life — 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨.

And to our customers…

Seeing the place full, seeing everyone having such a bloody good time and feeling that atmosphere after everything we’d put into it was honestly a bit overwhelming.
