We're looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team at The Waterwitch.
Situated on Lancaster's beautiful canal side, The Waterwitch is known for delivering high-quality food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you take pride in your section, thrive in a busy kitchen, and have a passion for producing excellent dishes, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Running your own section during service
✅ Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
✅ Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef
✅ Assisting with menu development and daily specials
✅ Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
✅ Ensuring consistency and quality across every dish
What We're Looking For:
✔ Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience ready to step up
✔ Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
✔ Ability to work calmly under pressure
✔ Excellent attention to detail
✔ A positive attitude and strong team ethic
✔ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

We’ve arrived this morning to find the bridge by The Water Witch has been closed off at both ends.

We haven’t had any notice or information yet, so we’re not sure who has closed it or how long it will be in place.

The good news is we are still open and accessible from the canal path leading down from South Road.

We’ll update as soon as we know more.
