✨JOIN US FOR ‘LIGHT UP LANCASTER’ 5th -7th November! We have an installation right here and refreshments to keep you going!

❤️ We’ll be serving delicious mulled w**e and hot chocolate OUTSIDE The White Cross throughout Light Up Lancaster weekend, so you can grab a warming treat while enjoying all the animal themed installation right here…

🤩We’re so excited to see the installation right on the canal outside the White Cross…
❓What happens when wildlife looks right back at you?

🎨Animals is a fascinating interactive installation by ARTshifters, combining hyper-realistic wildlife photography by Suren Manvelyan with land-art by Ivo Opl.

📞Using 40 recycled smartphones, the artwork brings the eyes of 16 animal species to life, from the piercing stare of a caiman to the captivating gaze of a chimpanzee.

👀But these aren't just images to look at. Stay quiet and the animals may hold your gaze. Make too much noise or move too quickly, and they might flinch, hide or turn defensive. Every encounter is fleeting and unique, shaped by how you behave in the moment.
