The results are in….

1st place: Bit Boelo Out

2nd place: The third eye is in the a**s: Pelvic clairvoyance, the wisdom of the sphincter and the total revelation of the a**l pupil (also winning best team name)

3rd place: Bastard Bono's Bloody Hat

Rumtopf - last batch!

Last lot of fruit to go into the Rumtopf today.

This time it’s pineapple chunks and grapes.

Same procedure…ish
It was basically full after the last batch, so I have created a Rumtopf “overflow”…
No bubbles, so all good there.
I did stir it again, gently, so as not to mush up the fruit, but to stir up the sugar at the bottom.
Put some fruit and lovely sweet fruity (high %) rum into the “overflow”

Weighed the fruit and sugar, 250g (ish) of each. Mixed it up and left to macerate for 3 hours.

Added fruit and sugar to the Rumtopf and Rumtopf “overflow” and topped up with the high % rum.

All sealed up again till the 1st of December when we get to taste it!
