**NEWFEST ALERT**

We're Excited AF to announce we're taking part in an event showcasing Newland Avenue's vibrant independent hospitality scene ❤️

'NewFest' is a collective effort from 10 of the currently *excellent* lineup of independent venues here in our beloved and unique avenue - -

15+ hours of gigs, events, food and drinks offers is happening in the space of a short stumble - what's not to like?!

Plenty of family friendly stuff planned, and a range of different atmospheres in each venue - come and meet all the great people with open doors, hearts and minds in your neighbourhood 😊

Tap will be hosting a singaround in the afternoon, so if you're a noodler, bring summat to noodle with!
(we have secure storage space so you can be free across the venues without your cumbersome instruments)
Much more to be announced here, and LOADS of stuff going on within a stone's throw 🎉🎈

Here's a somewhat more informative and less overexcited summary from Meg:

"NewFest takes place on 22nd August. Ten independent businesses are working together to deliver a series of events across the day. This includes music, food, activities, and even a pop up film screening.

We are doing this for several reasons; firstly, we already have a strong working relationship, secondly independent businesses in this area are affected by the quieter summer period, and we’d like to offer the community an affordable and enjoyable day with a view to increase footfall in the area, and meet new people. This is the first time we’ve done anything like this, and we’d really like to keep it going and expand it in the future.

We’ll announce some more details next week, along with opening times, what’s on where and when, and how you can get involved. In the meantime, save the date and watch this space…"

We had a FULL HOUSE, for The Confessional, last night, here at Newland Tap

Lots of new faces, and familiar ones, yet whether it was your first time with us, or your *insert number here*’s time, we loved welcoming you all!

Thank you to those, who took to the mic, and for those, who respectfully listened, and we hope you all enjoyed, what has become, one of our favourite evenings, of the month

The Confessional is held here, on the second Wednesday, of every month, so if you wish to see, what it’s all about, pop it in your diary, for July

Be sure to keep an eye on the page, for all of our other events too
