This week, we held our annual Limitless Platform! ⭐

This week was all about celebrating creativity, movement and self-expression as we brought creative ageing centre stage! Our performing arts groups for over 60s, Act Your Age and Mature Movers, came together for a day of sharing, learning and connecting through workshops led by professional artists.

There was plenty to celebrate as Act Your Age shared a snippet of their Glide into Pride Apéritif, originally created for this year's Kendal Pride, while Mature Movers brought their Fosse-inspired dance and movement to the stage. 🏳️‍🌈 🎩

Feeling inspired to get involved? There's still time to join Act Your Age and Mature Movers for the second half of this term! Get in touch to book your place.

👯 Mature Movers | Dance & Movement | Tuesdays 11.30am-12.30pm - https://www.breweryarts.co.uk/event/mature-movers/

🎭 Act Your Age | Community Theatre Group | Tuesdays | 1-3pm - https://www.breweryarts.co.uk/event/act-your-age/

What an incredible night at Slambria! 🌟

Our Poetry Club Slambria saw two brilliant winners last night - Cyan Rushton and Rachael Ensoll! 🏆

We were also treated to a beautiful performance from last year’s winner, REMa Grace Gifford, who brought together song, spoken word and poetry

As always, a huge thank you to our wonderful facilitator, Ann Grant, for creating such a welcoming and supportive space for everyone!

Poetry Club is just one of the ways we celebrate and showcase local talent at Brewery Arts! Coming up next, we have our festive Christmas Word Party edition of Verbalise on 19 December 🎄
