So not only have we got two amazing guests for you in our upstairs room on September 26th, we've also got two more downstairs ! DJ Hawk returns with his psych box of tricks, and is joined by long-time DJing and K-Hawk Productions partner Kevin Dunne — fellow record obsessive, musical dot-joiner and purveyor of worldly sounds. Kevin has played alongside names like Mr Scruff and the Fat City Records crew, and held residencies from Carlisle’s Perfect, to Arena in Newcastle and Sugar Shack in Middlesbrough. Together they present The K-Hawk Sessions, turning the downstairs bar into a departure lounge: a free-flowing journey through library sounds, jazz, Balearic folk, dub, electronica, psychedelia and beyond, with archive voices and dialogue woven into the mix. Three hours of musical preparation from 5pm, gradually gathering pace before the voyage upstairs into the Land of the Lost begins.
