The Buxton Team would just like to say a massive thank you to all that came out last night to support the Halloween Themed "Bux Quiz" with our resident quiz master "Jack Williams", powered by "Speed Quizzing". We had 27 teams start and 25 teams finish, all hoping to get that 1st place, which "Quiz on yer Pumpkinz" did, followed in 2nd place by "Quizzy McQuizzicals", 3rd place "The Haddyfields"; 4th place "Simple Minds" & 5th place "We Came We Saw We Guessed". In last place and taking away a bag of Skittles we had "Salt & Pepper T**s". The "Play Your Cards" jackpot of £100 was not won. This means we now have £150 in the Jackpot next week, where "Jack" will be back at the helm, so we look forward to seeing you all again next week for another fun packed quiz".

Well, It's Wednesday again, and Halloween is just around the corner, so tonight we are having a special Halloween Quiz, where the witches and ghouls will be around with some spooky surprises as well as our resident quiz master Jack Williams. Could you do with some extra cash in October ......... then don't forget to come and join us tonight for our weekly FREE to enter, fun "Halloween Bux Quiz" from 8pm. Prizes to be won for 1st; 2nd; 3rd; 4th; 5th and last places plus spooky surprises as well. Then after the quiz we have our jackpot game of "Play Your Cards" where for just £1 you could boost your bank balance and walk away with the jackpot prize, which this week is at £100 (but you never know what the spooks may do), for just correctly guessing if each card is Higher or Lower than the preceeding one, wouldn't that be a nice little boost to your balance in mid October.
Why not make a night of it and book a table in the restaurant beforehand and enjoy a delicious English or Chef's special meal before the quiz starts, or even try one of our delicious pizzas, "Quizdogz" or our "Nachos with Chilli & Cheese".
So don't be LATE the spooks will be watching.........
