Update….
Unfortunately there is still no news on a new publican, There has been a bit of interest from a few but either they have changed their mind or it just wasn’t what they wanted, to be fair they have probably saved themselves a nervous breakdown and empty pockets .

So the Clarkes remains closed for the time being, there has been a lot of rumours why we closed but the the truth in all it’s glory is available to anyone who wants it, just message us and we will be as honest as we can, we have nothing at all to hide.

We wanted so much for the Clarkes and feel we had some fabulous customers who sincerely enjoyed the experience of what we were trying to do .

We miss you all too, we have had some lovely messages and wish you all peace, health, happiness.

Remember….

Notice.

A big thank you to all the wonderful customers old and new that shared some fabulous days/ nights in the Clarkes Arms.

The Clarkes is now closed until we officially hand it back end of august, as yet there isn’t a replacement publican.

I Will keep posting updates until we hand over then I will delete this page to give the new publican a chance.

Once again, thank you to everyone for your custom your friendship and your support. We really appreciate your kindness,

This dog was stolen from the warehouse across from the Clarkes Arms, he is now a little older than picture he is a staffie / Ridgeback cross he is not a guard dog but a staff members pet. It’s been gone about an hour now, any information much appreciated.
